The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) created the BHIM app, or Bharat Interface for Money, as a means of making UPI payments both simple and efficient. Providing a variety of services including money transfer, bill payment, and mobile recharging, BHIM is recognized as a leading figure in digital payment solutions in India. However, like other services, it is not immune from occasionally crashing or failing.
